A fortune 500 company is urgently backfilling a position and is looking for a mid-level developer with minimally 2 years of Python experience to join their team.
This will be with one of their consumer facing technology teams that is servicing millions of customers throughout the US. The role will involve building APIs and microservices with Python, database work with Postgres, and working in a serverless AWS environment with Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, API Gateway, and more.
The team is primarily senior, so they would love to hire a mid-level developer with a good attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn, They are big on levelling up staff, so learning on the job and developing new skill sets is expected for this role. The position will start off as a W2 contract and convert to a salaried role with annual bonus, generous PTO, 401(k) + match, and more. Required Skills & Experience

- Experience with Python
- Experience with Postgres, MySQL, or SQL database
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with microservices and API development
- Bachelors degree (any field)
- Experience with ETL development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
