IAM Reporting Validation and Reporting Automation Engineer / Hybrid

Outstanding contract opportunity! A well-known Financial Services Company is looking for a IAM Reporting validation and Reporting Automation Engineer in Charlotte, NC, Minneapolis MN, or Iselin, NJ.

We are seeking strong experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), information security reporting, and automation. This role will support security reporting, QA/testing automation, process improvement, and DevOps enablement to strengthen risk posture and reporting consistency across the organization.

Contract Duration: 6+ months with possible extension

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Access Management / IAM and information security reporting.
• Proven ability to gather and document business and functional requirements (BRDs).
• Hands-on experience with QA/UAT testing and automation, preferably for data and reporting validation.
• Experience supporting BCP, security controls, and industry frameworks (CIS, NIST, STIG).
• Solid understanding of IAM baseline documentation and change management processes.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder partnering skills.

Reporting & Analytics: Power BI, Tableau
Programming / Automation: Python, Alteryx
DevOps / Tooling: GitHub, Jira, ServiceNow
Testing & Validation: QA automation, report validation frameworks


Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience building or supporting DevOps pipelines for reporting and metrics engineering.
• Background in process improvement, risk reduction, and reporting standardization within information security environments.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives, including access management reporting, baseline documentation, and IAM change management.
• Perform information security reporting and analysis, focusing on report rationalization, consistency, and actionable insights.
• Gather, analyze, and document Business Requirement Definitions (BRDs) and support business requirement development.
• Execute QA/UAT testing of IAM and security reports, including automation of testing for data and report validation.
• Act as a gatekeeper for code reviews, testing standards, and quality assurance for reporting deliverables.
• Maintain GitHub repositories for reporting code and support server upgrades, migrations, and DevOps processes.
• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures and governance processes for reporting and metrics engineering.
• Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) exercises and align activities with industry frameworks such as CIS, NIST, and STIG.
• Automate BAU reporting and intake of new service requests to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Collaborate closely with Information Security, Technology, and Business partners to drive process improvement and risk reduction through automation.
