This is an opportunity to join a leading company in the insurance space as a mid-to-senior-level Database Administrator (DBA) supporting a Microsoft-based environment. This is a fully remote, contract role (3-6 months with chance of being converted to a full-time employee) for candidates located in either the Eastern or Central Standard Time Zone. You’ll focus on database administration, automation, and scaling platforms, working with SQL, scripting tools, and cloud technologies to drive performance and efficiency.
As a Database Administrator, you’ll be responsible for hands-on database administration, enhancing workflow automation, and collaborating with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure scalability and reliability across environments.
Required Skills & Experience-
Mid-to-senior-level experience as a Database Administrator

Proficiency with Microsoft SQL for database administration

Scripting experience using PowerShell and Bash

Familiarity with automation job scaling platforms (ActiveBatch preferred but not required)

Experience working within Azure and AWS cloud environments
