Sr. Mechanical Engineer

A leading engineering consulting firm in Chicago is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This group specializes in designing critical facilities, data centers, and healthcare projects, delivering high-performance solutions for complex building systems.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing mechanical design drawings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring HVAC systems meet the high-performance demands of mission-critical facilities. You will work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to produce reliable and innovative solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, with hands-on work in critical data center facilities.

• Strong experience in HVAC design and mechanical systems for mission-critical environments.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for design and drawing review.

• Demonstrated ability to develop detailed mechanical design drawings and documentation.

• Able to work onsite in downtown Chicago as needed.
