Engineering Manager — Summary
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to help scale our engineering team and shape the technical foundation of our platform for financial advisors. This role combines hands-on technical leadership, people management, and close collaboration with the founders.
What you’ll do

Lead, hire, and mentor a high-performing engineering team.

Drive execution across product areas to deliver high-quality, fast-moving features.

Set and refine engineering processes for planning, code quality, reviews, operations, and on-call.

Partner with founders on architecture, scaling, reliability, and long-term technical strategy.

Contribute to technical work when needed (architecture reviews, complex PRs, unblocking engineers).

Foster a transparent, collaborative, and action-oriented engineering culture.
Who you are

10+ years of engineering leadership experience, ideally in fast-growing or high-performance tech environments.

Strong technical background and sound judgment in ambiguous, fast-changing settings.

Excellent communicator who can clearly explain priorities, trade-offs, and the “why” behind decisions.

Comfortable making architectural decisions and balancing speed, reliability, performance, and cost.

Enjoy working both with people and in the code.

Based in NYC and able to work onsite in Chelsea 5 days/week.
