We are seeking a dedicated Data Modeler Consultant to lead the adoption and implementation of a modern data modeling tool within a Snowflake Data Warehouse environment. The primary responsibility of this role is to reverse-engineer existing databases into the new modeling platform and enrich models by adding comprehensive metadata and clear business descriptions. This position is essential in transforming fragmented and undocumented environments into well-documented, standardized, and business-aligned data assets.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on data modeling experience using tools like ER/Studio, SqlDBM, Erwin, etc., in cloud data warehouse or analytics environments (Snowflake preferred).
- Expertise in reverse-engineering existing databases and translating into modern data modeling tools.
- Strong capability in metadata management, business glossary development, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with data governance concepts, naming conventions, and data quality best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and database structure assessment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Experience leading or supporting data modeling tool adoption projects.
- Background in large-scale data migrations or modernization efforts.
- Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or financial services.
- Understanding requirements for analytics, self-service BI, and AI/ML data contexts.
