We’re looking for a full-time, temp-to-perm Data Engineer to join our remote U.S.-based team. This role works in a modern, Microsoft-centric environment spanning multiple cloud platforms, with core technologies including Snowflake, Python, and SQL. You’ll help design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data infrastructure to power advanced data platforms.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- 4+ years in data engineering
- Experience with Snowflake-based solutions
- Designing and implementing large-scale cloud data solutions
- Strong in data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing principles
- Proficient with Python and SQL
- Experience in agile environments
- Familiar with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira)
- Effective communicator across technical and non-technical teams
- Able to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Familiarity with big data technologies and modern data pipeline tools
- Experience with multi-cloud environments
- Background in procurement, supply chain, or ESG-related analytics
- Experience optimizing Snowflake performance and cost efficiency
- Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance standards
- Strong documentation skills (runbooks, diagrams, data flow maps)
