A local manufacturing company is looking to hire a Business Analyst to join their Technology team. This role focuses on improving processes and ensuring business applications—mainly in a Microsoft ecosystem—meet the needs of production and warehouse operations. You’ll partner closely with business users to understand requirements, redesign broken workflows, drive projects, and manage ERP configurations, especially within warehouse management. While Microsoft Dynamics, Power Automate, or Power BI experience is a plus, strong communication, problem?solving, and customer?facing skills matter most.
This is an 80% process, 20% technical role suited for someone creative who enjoys fixing operational challenges and supporting leaders in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or similar environments. Required Skills & Experience
- Serve as a key expert on core business systems, guiding teams on how to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements while coordinating closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Troubleshoot system issues, analyze root causes, and recommend long-term fixes that support stable, scalable applications.
- Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements, including process flows for system enhancements and new initiatives.
- Ensure that business applications and integrations across areas like ERP, WMS, finance, analytics, and supply chain align with business goals and compliance standards.
- Identify operational risks and recommend technology-driven solutions to prevent disruptions and support business continuity.
- Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, release documentation, and support resources to promote adoption of new features.
- Support full project lifecycles—testing, deployment, vendor collaboration, change management, and post-launch stabilization—with occasional travel as needed.
