An esteemed financial institution is seeking a highly driven Microsoft Engineer to provide support and improve its Microsoft-powered systems and solutions. The ideal applicant will be in charge of guaranteeing the dependability, efficiency, and security of their IT infrastructure and possess a thorough understanding of Microsoft technologies, such as Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Microsoft-based systems and solutions, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Provide technical support for Microsoft technologies, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain high availability and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Implement and enforce security policies and best practices to protect the IT environment.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements and updates as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong understanding of system administration, network management, and security practices.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, MS-100, MS-101) are highly desirable.
