Network Field Engineer/MSP/Hybrid Remote Philly

Are you a hands-on Network Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? A rapidly growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) based in Greater Philadelphia is seeking a Field Network Engineer to support a diverse range of client environments. This is a full time opportunity focused on cutting-edge network infrastructure, cloud integration, and hybrid IT solutions. 
You will be doing a mix of working remote as well as commuting to local clients when needed.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a Field or Network Engineer role within an MSP environment

  • Strong networking skills (routing, switching, firewalls – ideally Cisco, Meraki, or Fortinet)

  • Experience with Microsoft environments including Windows Server, Active Directory, and O365

  • Solid understanding of virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and SLA-based support

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel to client sites required)

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Azure or AWS experience in hybrid or cloud migration projects

  • Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or Microsoft MCP/MCSA

  • Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python)

  • Previous experience supporting multi-tenant environments

  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions

  • 20% Cloud services (O365, Azure)

  • 10% Virtualization

Daily Responsibilities
  • 70% Hands-On Technical Work (deployments, troubleshooting, upgrades)

  • 20% Client Engagement & On-Site Visits

  • 10% Documentation & Internal Collaboration
