Our client is looking for a Unified Communications Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the implementation and maintenance of unified communications systems. - Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of unified communications systems, including VoIP, video conferencing, and instant messaging solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for communication platforms and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and other IT professionals to plan and implement system upgrades and enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and health, ensuring optimal operation and minimal downtime.
- Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in on-call support rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute to the continuous improvement of communication systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Basic understanding of unified communications technologies such as VoIP, SIP, video conferencing, and instant messaging.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, Cisco Unified Communications, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
