Chief of Staff / Phoenix / Onsite
Phoenix, Arizona
Onsite
Contract
$50/hr - $60/hr
This Chief of Staff role sits directly within the CIO’s office and is responsible for shaping, pitching, and executing the highest-priority strategic initiatives across IT and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). You’ll own executive-level proposals end-to-end, translate complex technical needs into clear business value, and personally drive a small portfolio of CIO-only initiatives. This is a high visibility, high-trust role designed for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, finance, and execution.
This role gives you a real seat at the table with executive leadership and direct exposure to how investment decisions are made at the highest level. You’re not just preparing decks, you’re influencing where the organization spends time, money and focus. You’ll have autonomy, executive sponsorship, and ownership over projects that matter, especially those that don’t fit neatly into standard delivery models. If you like being the calm, strategic operator during pivots, crises, or “we need this done now” moments, this role is built for you.
