Cloud Automation Engineer

We’re looking for a talented cloud professional who has a strong understanding of cloud technologies—preferably AWS and/or GCP. We are specifically seeking highly experienced, senior-level DevOps who are interested in contracted position. This role is tailored for individuals with a deep expertise in the field and a passion for delivering impactful solutions.
We're looking for a talented Cloud Infrastructure Architect with a passion for Kubernetes, Terraform, and DevOps practices to help us build and automate cutting-edge cloud platforms across multiple environments.
Contract Duration: 6-12 months Required skills:

• strong expertise in Kubernetes, with experience in automating deployments and scaling services across multiple cloud platforms.
• Extensive experience with Terraform, ideally with custom Terraform providers written in Go.
• Solid programming skills in Go (preferred) or Python, with a focus on automation and infrastructure management.
• In-depth understanding of DevOps principles and GitOps workflows.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to guide and mentor other teams, enabling them to automate and scale their infrastructure effectively.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Agile methodologies and an understanding of how to implement them effectively.
• Strong background in software configuration and the ability to adapt systems to meet changing needs.
• Proficiency in programming languages and familiarity with development frameworks.
• Expertise in business analysis, understanding project requirements, and turning them into actionable steps.
• Excellent analytical thinking skills to assess situations, solve problems, and optimize processes.

• Drive the design delivery of multi-cloud services: 20%
• Perform hands-on evaluations before scaling cloud platform services: 15%
• Architecture, design, and development (Public Clouds, Kubernetes, Terraform, Gen AI): 25%
• Translate vision into actionable plans: 10%
• Collaborate with product owners on cloud features: 15%
• Review current cloud platform implementations and improvements: 10%
• Monitor emerging technologies and vendor relationships: 5%
