Mid-Level Software Engineer

One of the largest global cloud and software consulting firms has been managing the Arizona Department of Transportation’s (ADOT) service infrastructure since the mid-1990s. In the last few years, a new team has been leading efforts to modernize ADOT’s core applications and infrastructure platforms. These systems power critical tools used across Arizona’s Transportation services, including DMV offices statewide.

This opportunity involves supporting software applications that are developed and maintained directly by the Department of Transportation.

Role: Junior to Mid-level .NET Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Triage and resolve development-related service tickets

  • Provide application support and maintenance

  • Work within a legacy environment as well as assist in modernization efforts

  • Identify and fix bugs, contributing to the stability of critical public-facing systems

This is a great position for a Junior to Mid-level Developer eager to learn and make an impact—these systems are used by virtually every resident in the state.

Skills:

  • .NET / C#

  • SQL Server

  • AWS (strong plus – many applications are hosted in AWS, so experience here is valuable)

  • Application Support experience

Location: Downtown Phoenix – Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
