This is an exciting 1-year contract opportunity with a leading global payments company based in Phoenix, AZ. This hybrid position (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) offers the chance to join a high-performing technology organization that drives secure, scalable, and compliant payment solutions across the U.S., Japan, and India. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard across the company’s core payments network, issuing, and acquiring platforms.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in compliance and risk management within Information Security, IT, or PCI DSS programs.
- Strong project or program management background overseeing multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver results under tight timelines.
- Experience collaborating with IT and IS SMEs on data collection, control validation, and remediation plans.
- Knowledge of secure configurations for Linux and Windows servers.
- Proficiency with network segmentation tools and technologies (firewalls, routers, proxy/API gateways, etc.).
- Understanding of encryption mechanisms for data at rest and in transit.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills, capable of creating executive-ready reports.
- Knowledge of PI planning, product prioritization, and engineering capacity planning.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management tools
- Understanding of virtualization technologies and container orchestration
- Experience with databases and distributed technologies such as Cassandra, Redis, Oracle DB, Couchbase, PostgreSQL, and Spark
- Ability to read and enhance architecture and data flow diagrams
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership and multiple stakeholders
