Senior Data Engineer | Life Sciences

We are searching for an experienced data engineer to join a premier team supporting novel medical & life sciences research. You will be working directly with cutting-edge researchers, medical professionals, and biostaticians to create and discover new treatments, screening tools, and identify disease process earlier.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in life sciences who can speak the language & understand data manipulation, cleaning, pipelining, and storage at a granular level. You would be building and maintaining data ingestion, cleaning, and storage functionality, and working closely with researchers, modellers, and data scientists to prepare data for analysis.
This is a hybrid position in Phoenix, AZ Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ Years of data engineering
  • Data Pipelining (ETL/ELT)
  • Data Storage (Databases, warehouses)
  • Python
  • SQL
  • Cloud Environments (AWS or Azure)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biology, Statistics, Data Science, or similar

Desired Skills & Experience

• Masters or PhD in relevant field
• Prior work in a life sciences company (clinical research, pharmaceuticals, laboratory work, etc)
