SAP IBP Inventory Optimization Analyst - Remote

Motion has partnered with a premier client to fill a long-term contract fully remote opportunity. This is a great opportunity for some extra work with a well-known company.

Are you a SAP IBP Inventory Optimization Analyst looking for a long term contract opportunity? Are you experienced in IBP and have a minimum of 2-3 IBP full life cycle deployments under your belt? Do you have IO (Inventory Optimization) experience and understand how to troubleshoot this as well as have at least 1 full life cycle implementation with it? Ever worked in the CPG space? Do you have at least 2 years SAP IBP Supply/Demand configuration and transactional experience? This position may be for you.


Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience with SAP IBP IO and overall Supply Chain Planning experience of more than 10 years
  • IBP IO = Integrated Business Planning Inventory Optimization
  • What is optimizer, how to use, how to troubleshoot (they use a statistical model)
• At least 1 full cycle implementation of IBP Inventory optimization (IO)
• IBP IO experience with configuration and support experience
• Experience in SAP IO configuration knowledge is needed.
• S4-IBP integration for Master Data and Transaction Data
• Sound knowledge IO Master Data in S4
• Through understand of Inventory planning process is needed
• Ability to work off hours/weekends, if required (if work off hours or weekends will flex to not work that time during week)
• Ability to work with offshore team to coordinate production support (job monitoring/Issue resolution)
• Strong customer service capability, attitude to learn quickly and contribute their best

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in end-to-end Forecast to schedule design and development including integration with other functional areas like MTD/OTC
  • OTC = Order To Cash
  • MTD = Manufacture to Deploy
• Excellent communication skills
• Integration experience with DRP/MPS, Replenishment Planning, Inventory Optimization, and PPDS is a plus
  • DRP = Distribution Requirements Planning
  • PPDS = Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling
  • MPS = Master Production Scheduling
• Familiarity with ITSM tools and processes, desirable.
• Familiarity with integration from and to legacy systems to SAP S4 and IBP systems is a plus
• Past experience in supporting SAC/Webi reports and integration of non-SAP systems a plus
• CI-DS trouble-shooting experience is desirable(web-socket experience is a plus)
  • CI-DS = Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services
