Cleared Detection Software Engineer - Remote DC

We’re working with a fast-growing, mission-driven cybersecurity startup building real-world intrusion detection technology for operational and embedded systems used in defense and transportation environments.

This role is for a strong software engineer with prior cyber experience. Someone who has worked on IDS/IPS, network or protocol-level detections, and can turn attacker behavior into production-grade detection code.

Must Haves

• Experience writing detection software (C++, Rust, Go, Python)

• Translating attack techniques into reliable detections

• Working with low-level data, protocols, and anomalous traffic

• Active Secret clearance required

Core Details:

• Remote-first role + 20% travel to DC
• Full-Time/Direct-Hire
• Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 + Equity & Bonus
