Cyber Architect

We are looking for a Cyber Architect who will be supporting a large, mission-driven organization operating in a regulated federal environment, with onsite work required three days per week in Washington, DC or Manassas, VA. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire role focused on designing, implementing, and operating enterprise-scale cybersecurity architecture that protects critical systems and cloud workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity architecture and engineering initiatives across enterprise systems

• Own Splunk ES configuration, data onboarding, CIM mapping, and optimization

• Administer and optimize a CASB platform (Skyhigh) to manage cloud visibility and risk

• Design and support cloud security controls in AWS and hybrid environments

• Partner with stakeholders to align security architecture with organizational objectives

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience with strong focus on cybersecurity architecture or engineering

• Hands-on experience with Splunk and security monitoring tools

• Experience securing cloud environments (AWS required)

• Strong background in network and identity security technologies

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
