Embedded Software Test Engineer

A recently funded and fast-growing startup in the defense space focused on OT maintenance prediction and compliance, is seeking an Embedded Test Engineer to join their organization.
We are looking for an engineer who is interested in optimizing testing processes using automation. 

This is an opportunity to collaborate with top engineers in a budding embedded market. This role is hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days per week in their Arlington, VA office.
Required Skills:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience working as a test engineer, specifically in an embedded environment.
• Proficiency in C++
• Proficiency with scripting languages, such as Python.
• Proficiency with Linux systems,
• Experience with network performance analysis and system health monitoring.
• Ability to set up and configure test environments consisting of both hardware and software components.
• Ability to obtain and maintain and active Top Secret clearance.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience and knowledge with software development in Rust
• Experience working in a startup environment
• Active Top Secret clearance
