Our client is looking for an AVT Technician for a 2-month contract in Santa Clara, CA 95054.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of audio/visual experience.
- Strong understanding of live sound signal flow.
- Ability to troubleshoot integrated audio systems (ClearOne), track/update wireless microphone frequencies, and maintain group/channel spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of AMX/Extron control system functionality (Master Controllers, RS-232, Touch Panels, GC3 configuration, pulling control code/touch panel files).
- Strong understanding of Extron components and integrated AV signal paths (Scalers, Switchers, DAs, Extenders).
- Ability to travel between sites using personal vehicle/company van.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to walk/sit/stand/crawl/kneel for extended periods.
- Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Windows.
- Quickly troubleshoot AV systems with minimal reliance on BKMs.
- Engage external vendors for RMA replacements and out-of-scope maintenance.
- Use creative problem-solving to restore functionality in hard-down” conference rooms.
- Build and maintain IPL GC3 files (adding/removing drivers).
- Update Extron and AMX firmware as part of preventative maintenance.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of monitors, projectors, and video conferencing system functionality.
- Manage and complete quarterly preventative maintenance projects.
- Create and resolve break/fix tickets by monitoring client ticketing systems.
- Respond to customer meeting support requests.
- Escalate major break/fix issues and workarounds to the VC Lead Technician.
- Manage site inventory and spares using the designated database.
- Serve as point of contact for Level 2 technicians.
- Partner with VC Lead for project deployments, floor renovations, and escalations.
