Mobile Warehouse Technician - Professional Driver

The team supports the safe delivery, movement, and set up of equipment that helps create efficient, comfortable, and compliant workspaces.
Responsible for safely transporting equipment, materials, and packages between company facilities, customer sites, and warehouse locations. This role ensures timely deliveries, maintains accurate delivery records, and upholds company standards for professionalism and safety. 

Required Skills and Experience

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, meeting client insurance and fleet requirements
• Ability to safely operate company-provided vans for deliveries and inter-office transport
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail
• Familiarity with GPS and routing tools
• Ability to follow assigned routes, schedules, and all traffic laws
• Reliable personal transportation (Somerville site is not easily accessible by public transit)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to comply with health, safety, and security protocols, including hospital/clinical policies
• Willingness to complete HIPAA training, background investigation, CORI, and driver’s record check
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting upto 50 lbs. and standing or walking for extended periods.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Previous delivery, driving, or warehouse experience.
• Experience supporting hospitals, clinical, or regulated environments.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Outlook, Excel)
• Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticket/work request systems.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to analyze operational or safety issues and initiate corrective action.
• Experience providing cross-coverage or backfill support in team-based environments.

What You Will Be Doing

• Transporting equipment, materials, and packages between warehouse, office, and customer sites.
• Loading and unloading equipment while ensuring proper handling and damage prevention.
• Performing routine vehicle inspections and reporting maintenance needs.
• Maintaining accurate delivery logs, manifests, and proof-of-delivery documentation.
• Assisting warehouse staff with staging, organizing, and receiving items.
• Communicating delays, route changes, or issues promptly to supervisors.
• Providing operational backfill and cross-coverage as directed by leadership.
• Working onsite in warehouse, hospital, clinical, and office environments across the Greater Boston area.
• Adhering to variable schedules that may include after-hours or weekend work based on operational needs.
