DevOps Engineer/ Bare Metal

The team is developing intelligent robotics and advanced software to automate the analysis of geological samples, delivering faster and more accurate insights for the industry. As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining critical on-premises infrastructure, managing bare metal environments, and modernizing CI/CD pipelines while enabling containerized workloads through Kubernetes.

This is a hands-on role for engineers who enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges, blending deep networking knowledge with automation and deployment expertise. The position is open to engineers in either Toronto or Calgary, offering the chance to contribute directly to an industry-shaping product with global impact.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience managing bare metal and Windows on-premises infrastructure

• Proven ability in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with modern automation tools

• Hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments

Desired Skills & Experience

• Networking background with familiarity in Cisco Meraki solutions

• Experience supporting data-intensive workloads in hybrid or on-prem deployments

• Knowledge of scaling infrastructure for high-throughput analytical or AI workloads
