Lead Azure DevOps Engineer

A high-level reputable software security company is currently hiring for a Principal/Lead level Azure DevOps Engineer. This company helps with securing IAM tools while allowing their customers an effective way to protect and recover security keys.

Right now, the IT team is in the process of scaling their microservices and are wanting to build out their DevOps environment more. This is a role that would come with Leadership responsibility – helping architect/design/mentor. You would be joining a small team, implementing a lot of their concepts from scratch and ideally, helping with rounding out the team.

They are looking for someone that is skilled with Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform, Terragrunt, Azure DevOps, Key Vault, CosmosDB, Python, and Go. If you have any experience with Istio, Logic Apps, Azure API Management, etc.

This is a full-time job; salary will be around $180K plus bonus and options. Our client is headquartered in Addison. They are onsite 2-3 days per week, but do offer flexibility.


Required Skills & Experience
  • 8-10+ years in IT.
  • 3+ years in a Senior/Lead DevOps role.
  • Strong Azure and containerization skills (AKS, Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Solid understanding of IaC (Terraform, Terragrunt)
  • Strong written and communication skills – need to be able to lead a team
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Strong scripting experience – Python and Go
  • Any educational degrees or certifications is a plus.
