As a Product Engineer, you will be a key member of the New Product Development Engineering team responsible for releasing a diverse portfolio of microwave semiconductor products ranging from MHz to 50GHz+, targeting Satcom, Communications, Test and Measurement, Aerospace and Defense, and general use applications into mass production.

The role includes developing production test plans to verify product performance, designing and debugging RF test boards for automated test equipment, and performing statistical data analysis to define test limits and datasheet specifications. You’ll collaborate closely with Design Engineering, Test Engineering, Applications, Marketing, and Reliability teams to ensure smooth product transitions from samples to full production. The position also involves working with internal and offshore test facilities to release products to manufacturing. A strong background in semiconductor product characterization, testing, and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of production test strategies for new MMIC products from concept through volume manufacturing.

  • Design and debug RF/microwave test hardware for automated test systems.

  • Perform advanced RF measurements and statistical data analysis to define test limits and datasheet specifications.

  • Collaborate with Design, Test, Applications, Reliability, and Marketing teams to ensure robust product performance and manufacturability.

  • Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives for yield, performance, and reliability.

  • Guide internal and offshore test facilities in implementing test solutions and product release processes.

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices and engineering standards.

  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional project teams with moderate to high complexity and business impact.

  • Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure their successful completion according to schedule and priorities.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 7+ years of experience as a Product or Test Engineer in the semiconductor field.

  • Knowledge of RF/microwave and optical semiconductor products, including amplifiers, attenuators, switches, and RF modules.

  • Strong background in MMIC characterization, statistical analysis, and yield optimization.

  • Experience in semiconductor device characterization.

  • Proven ability to lead technical projects and influence cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with statistical analysis tools such as JMP.

  • Due to ITAR regulations, only candidates who are U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status) will be considered.
