Bill Rate should be reflective of viable FTE conversion (meaning pay rate should be inline with below to prevent conversion issues), details below:
• FTE Salary: $45,500 + Cash Collection Incentive/Bonus (pending performance)
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid: In office 1 day a week, likely to increase going forward)
Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire

Summary: The main function of a customer accounting specialist is to interact with customers and colleagues on past due balances, account inquiries and resolve complaints. A typical customer accounting specialist is responsible for payment by end of month, determining the clients issue, offer possible solutions, collaborate with internal departments, or providing follow-up as needed. Customer accounting agents are inbound and outbound daily with emails/calls.
Job Responsibilities: Approve the resolution of customers service or billing complaints by authorizing activities such as refunding money and adjusting bills. Act as escalation point for clients/customers. Approve the referral of unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation. Review, monitor and audit records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken. Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess validity of complaints and to determine possible causes. Solicit sale of new or additional services or products.
Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time. Strong ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required, prefer to have college degree3+ years of experience in accounting, collections or customer service/billing required.
Additional Information from Manager: Intermediate excel skills are requiredEmail outlook experience is required.General knowledge of accounting is preferred. This is an email and call driven position interfacing with customers and colleagues on balances due.
