Our Client is hiring a full-time Reliability Engineer in Andover, Massachusetts. Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in reliability engineering or electronics-focused engineering roles
- Experience with reliability prediction models such as MIL-HDBK-217 and Telcordia
- Knowledge of electronic circuits, components, PCBs, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with FMEA and Design of Experiments
- Strong statistical analysis skills related to product reliability and quality metrics
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers
- Desired Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion theory
- Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification
- Experience with physics-of-failure analysis for electronic components
- Proficiency with tools such as MS Office, MS Project, Visio, Minitab, or JMP
- Ability to influence teams and drive projects to completion
- Reliability program development and qualification testing
- Statistical modeling and reliability data analysis
- Cross-functional engineering collaboration
- Daily Responsibilities
- Develop and implement qualification and reliability monitoring plans to meet customer requirements
- Execute and coordinate testing schedules and reliability growth activities
- Analyze field performance data using Weibull and related reliability models
- Identify and implement reliability improvements in current and future product designs
- Collaborate with design teams to integrate reliability into development projects
- Generate and distribute reliability performance reports to internal teams and customers
- Recommend and evaluate testing and life-test equipment
- Interface with customers regarding reliability questions and concerns
