Our client is seeking a hands-on, technically versatile Robotics Application Integration (Deployment) Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of prototyping, deployment, and field testing. The selected candidate will own key systems that bridge development and real-world performance.

Key Responsibilities-
Own and maintain our client’s vehicle configuration library, ensuring reliable system operation across a wide range of vehicle makes, models, and trims.

Validate and enhance configuration performance, incorporating version control and scalable update methods.

Define and advocate for new features in tools and software to support scalability and fleet consistency.

Document and lead troubleshooting procedures across robotic subsystems.

Design and fabricate custom tools, fixtures, and hardware to improve safety, repeatability, and efficiency.

Assist with mechanical prototyping using 3D printing, welding, machining, and COTS part selection.

Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to resolve system interface and performance issues.

Log engineering change orders (ECOs), document redlines, and recommend DFM/DFA improvements.

Apply best practices in system builds, including cable management, harnessing, and enclosure design.

Assemble and wire control panels, sensor arrays, and motion subassemblies.

Support commissioning and go-live activities for deployed robotic systems at customer sites.

Conduct field diagnostics and collect data to drive iterative improvements.

Identify critical spare parts, consumables, and recurring failure modes.

Support on-site pilot tests, customer demonstrations, and system deployments.

Train and mentor technicians on build procedures, equipment operation, and safety standards.

8+ years of hands-on experience configuring electro-mechanical systems in real-world environments.

Strong skills in electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, and root cause troubleshooting.

Experience using CAD tools (preferably Onshape or SolidWorks) for design and documentation.

Working knowledge of Linux environments and command-line utilities.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, and a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Hands-on experience with automotive tire changes and wheel balancing.

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Engineering Technology, IT, Mechatronics, etc.) or equivalent technical experience.

Experience in manufacturing, automation, or hardware startup environments.

Veteran or prior service experience, particularly with mechanical or vehicle systems.

Proficiency in creating test scripts, documenting procedures, and training others.

Familiarity with motion systems, sensors, and robotic subsystems.
