Cloud Engineer III

Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. In this role, you’ll partner with engineering teams to optimize cloud performance, drive automation, and ensure alignment with best practices in reliability and security. You’ll play a key role in guiding cloud strategy, troubleshooting complex deployments, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the environment.

The company is located in Webster, MA and will be 3 days onsite a week.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Collaborate with development and engineering teams to define and execute cloud strategies.
• Design, automate, and deploy scalable, modular AWS-based infrastructure.
• Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to security standards and compliance policies.
• Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Continuously evaluate systems to identify areas for improvement and modernization.
• Provide training and technical guidance on emerging cloud technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture, deployment, and operations.
• Proven expertise designing and enhancing solutions on AWS.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to provide technical leadership.
