Commercial Title Assistant

Description: Performs clerical tasks to support timely escrow closings and title recordings.
Support title officer role in a variety of tasks to keep workflows efficient and accurate, including without limitation, preparation and finalization of commercial title policies based upon proformas; document scanning and compilation; provision of assistance in closing transactions by liaising with customers, internal teammates and third party information providers; communicating with clerk and tax offices; ordering lien, judgment and authority searches; submitting documents for recording; assistance with final fee reconciliation; disseminating final closing packages. Interprets and acts on instructions from customers and title officers.
Creates title files and prepares endorsements and supplemental documents, including in connection with construction draw requests.
Provides customer service to customers and internal partners.
Assist with office administrative tasks.

Skills: Excellent verbal/written communication skills; Organized and capable of multitasking; Strong customer service orientation Strong detail orientation; 4+ years title industry experience or commercial title experience a plus.
