An advanced aerospace and defense integrator is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead the verification, validation, and flight-test strategy for a mission-critical airborne system. This is a full-time opportunity requiring a strong test engineering background supporting DoD C4ISR, avionics, or tactical communications systems. The role supports a major modernization effort through FY25–27 and requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
This position will lead the design and execution of testing efforts from lab checkout to flight validation, helping ensure operational readiness for next-generation airborne data systems. It’s a hands-on and highly collaborative position ideal for senior-level test engineers ready to make a mission impact across digital and physical environments.
Required Skills & Experience

U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance

B.S. in Aerospace, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (or related discipline); M.S. preferred

15+ years of DoD system-of-systems test engineering, spanning lab-to-flight test integration
-
Experience leading Developmental Test (DT) and Operational Test (OT) for avionics or comms systems
-
Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and scripting (Python, Robot Framework, Jenkins, Ansible)
-
Hands-on use of test instrumentation and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Pandas, JMP)
-
Familiarity with environmental and EMI/EMC standards (e.g., MIL?STD?810, MIL?STD?461, RCC 324)
Desired Skills & Experience

Experience supporting ABMS, CJADC2, OMS/UCI, or data link programs
-
Familiarity with Type-1 crypto, cross-domain solutions, and RMF/eMASS processes
-
Flight-test credentials such as USAF TPS graduate or FAA DER
-
Experience with Agile/Scrum or SAFe methodologies
-
Knowledge of Model-Based Test or integration with MBSE workflows
