A software solutions company specializing in secure, mission-critical systems is looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Software Developer to join their growing engineering team. This role supports the development of a software management platform used across multiple branches of the U.S. Government, with a strong focus on security, compliance, and reliability.
You will work on applications that support declassification workflows, email security, and automated software solutions. The ideal candidate is a Java developer with a solid computer science foundation, strong communication skills, and an interest in being customer-facing while working in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain backend application features using Java (primary focus).
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of a secure software management system supporting government clients.
Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
Assist with integrations and enhancements related to security-focused workflows such as declassification and email protection.
Support deployments and updates in a structured, compliance-driven environment.
Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a customer-facing capacity.
The Offer
Competitive salary $80,000 - $105,000 Base

Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (required)
Professional experience with Java
Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with customers
Cloud and/or AI experience is a plus
