Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their innovative biotechnology research team in Boston. They're specializing in providing tools and technologies to improve pre-analytical sample preparation, enable novel drug formulations, and manage compounds in the drug discovery process.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, ideally in a biotechnology, medical device, or related industry.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material science.
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB) for mechanical testing and optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (ISO, FDA) is a plus.
