They’re on a mission to push the boundaries of what’s possible and are looking for a talented Principal Mechanical Engineer with expertise in vibration analysis to join their team in Boston.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead vibration analysis and structural dynamics efforts for robotics systems, including identifying sources of vibration, quantifying dynamic responses, and developing strategies for vibration mitigation.
- Design and optimize mechanical components and assemblies to reduce noise and vibrations, ensuring maximum operational efficiency and longevity.
- Perform dynamic simulations and analysis to predict and solve potential vibration-related issues during product development.
- Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to integrate vibration control strategies into product design.
- Develop test plans, conduct experiments, and analyze test data to validate vibration-related design decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
- At least 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on vibration analysis, dynamics, and structural integrity in complex systems.
- Expertise in vibration analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, ANSYS, COMSOL, or similar software).
- Experience with robotics or similar dynamic, high-precision systems is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex engineering projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to solve challenging mechanical issues.
