Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Ph.D. is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in power electronics design, with a focus on gradient power supplies and high-voltage systems.
- Proven track record of designing and optimizing DC/DC converters, inverters, and switch-mode power supplies (SMPS).
- Expertise in simulation and modeling tools (e.g., SPICE, LTSpice, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Strong understanding of thermal management, EMI/EMC compliance, and safety protocols for high-power systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and projects, including mentoring junior engineers.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Background in security scanning, medical imaging, or other fields requiring high-reliability power systems.
- Knowledge of advanced materials and techniques for power system efficiency improvements.
- Familiarity with power component qualification and testing standards.
- Proficiency in Python/C++ or similar tools for test automation and data analysis.
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration in complex hardware-software systems.
