Senior Electrical Engineer - Medical Device

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical design, specifically in the medical device industry.
  • Expertise in PCB design, including layout, schematic capture, and component selection.
  • Strong understanding of signal integrity, including analysis, modeling, and debugging.
  • Knowledge of medical device standards such as IEC 60601 and ISO 13485.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Altium, OrCAD, or similar.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with low-power design and analog/digital circuit integration.
  • Experience with high-speed interfaces, including USB, Ethernet, and I2C/SPI protocols.
  • Knowledge of DFMEA and other risk analysis methodologies.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and testing for medical devices (e.g., EMI/EMC, FDA submission support).

  • 20% Signal Integrity Analysis
  • 20% Testing and Validation

Daily Responsibilities

  • 50% Hands-On Design and Development
  • 30% Testing and Optimization
  • 20% Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams (Mechanical, Firmware, and Quality)
