Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design, specifically in the medical device industry.
- Expertise in PCB design, including layout, schematic capture, and component selection.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity, including analysis, modeling, and debugging.
- Knowledge of medical device standards such as IEC 60601 and ISO 13485.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Altium, OrCAD, or similar.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with low-power design and analog/digital circuit integration.
- Experience with high-speed interfaces, including USB, Ethernet, and I2C/SPI protocols.
- Knowledge of DFMEA and other risk analysis methodologies.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and testing for medical devices (e.g., EMI/EMC, FDA submission support).
