As a Technical Operations Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of enterprise systems and infrastructure. You’ll architect, support, and optimize critical systems across cloud and on-prem environments — all while maintaining a 24/7 uptime objective and aligning technical execution with high-level business objectives.

What You'll Be Responsible For-
Architect, implement, and support infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments.

Evaluate, test, and deploy systems and tools to solve a wide variety of technical problems aligned with business goals.

Administer and support enterprise systems including Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Exchange, IIS, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms.

Ensure 24/7 availability, performance, and health of systems infrastructure, targeting 99.999% uptime.

Manage and monitor on-premise and cloud environments with an emphasis on system performance, lifecycle management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery readiness.

Act as liaison to Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams; collaborate closely to ensure alignment across projects and platforms.

Own change, incident, and problem management for infrastructure components; lead highly visible or high-risk operational tasks.

Participate in ongoing efforts around automation and infrastructure as code using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Perform system upgrades, patching, and maintenance in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Assist in planning and executing security audits and assessments in collaboration with the Information Security team.

Maintain clear and accurate documentation including technical procedures, diagrams, and operational guides.

Support and participate in data center operations as required.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
-
2+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure environments.
-
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration.
-
Proven experience supporting Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and system monitoring tools.

Hands-on experience with VMware and other virtualization technologies.

Familiarity with networking fundamentals: IP routing, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, and Layer 2/3 protocols.

Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.) for automation and task execution.

Experience with data protection solutions, including disaster recovery and backup platforms.
-
Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and incident response skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid infrastructure.

Familiarity with automation/configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).

Experience with email and messaging platforms (Office365, Exchange Online).

Knowledge of mail security platforms (e.g., Mimecast).
-
Familiarity with backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Rubrik).
-
Exposure to security and encryption standards, including certificate and key management.

Experience with monitoring/logging platforms (e.g., Elastic, Splunk).

Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP, Microsoft AZ/MCSE, Linux+, AWS/Azure certs).
