As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our client's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of their systems. This position requires a deep understanding of network architecture, cloud technologies, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Design & Implementation: Develop and implement infrastructure solutions that meet the business needs, focusing on scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Cloud Management: Manage and optimize cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), ensuring cost efficiency and high performance.
  • Network Architecture: Design, deploy, and maintain robust network solutions, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
  • System Integration: Work with software development teams to integrate new applications into the existing infrastructure seamlessly.
  • Security: Implement and manage security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats.
  • Monitoring & Maintenance: Establish monitoring protocols to ensure system performance and availability, and proactively address any issues that arise.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and changes.
  • Team Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with other IT professionals to share knowledge and improve processes.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related role.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Solid knowledge of security best practices and tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS).
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
