A thriving manufacturing company in South Jersey is expanding its team and seeking a Network Engineer to join their IT department. This role will directly support the IT Manager across various facets of infrastructure, focusing on network engineering within a Cisco environment and contributing to their cloud migration initiatives.

As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the management and enhancement of the company's network infrastructure. You'll work closely with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and be instrumental in implementing SDWAN solutions. Additionally, you'll be involved with Windows and Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the IT Manager on infrastructure projects, including migrations, upgrades, and implementations.
  • Configure and maintain Cisco routing and switching technologies, ensuring optimal network performance.
  • Assist in the implementation of SDWAN to enhance network efficiency and reliability.
  • Manage and troubleshoot firewalls to maintain network security.
  • Resolve complex technical issues with a strong focus on problem-solving skills.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in infrastructure project work, migrations, upgrades, and implementations.
  • Strong proficiency in Cisco routing and switching technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with SDWAN implementation and management.
  • Working knowledge of firewall configurations and management.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to network challenges.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Cisco or Microsoft certifications would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing or retail industry is a plus.
  • VMware, Azure, or Microsoft experience
