Platform Engineer

Are you a Platform Engineer with an emphasis in security compliances? A consulting firm that specializes in building secure, compliant cloud solutions for commercial and government clients is looking to expand their team. They help organizations transition to cloud-native architectures and provide ongoing 24/7 support for mission-critical systems. As they expand their government contracting practice, they're building out AWS GovCloud environments with FedRAMP compliance requirements and looking for a Strong AWS Platform Engineer to bring the team together.

Join this growing team where you'll play a key role in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions for government clients. You'll work hands-on with modern DevOps tools and practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant cloud deployments.


Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (AWS GovCloud experience highly preferred)
• Infrastructure as Code implementation with Terraform
• Kubernetes (K8s) orchestration and management
• Python and Bash scripting
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog or similar)
• Understanding of compliance frameworks and secure cloud architectures
• Consulting or client-facing experience

Desired Skills & Experience

• FedRAMP compliance and implementation experience
• AWS GovCloud and/or GCC High (Microsoft Government Cloud) experience
• Spacelift or similar Terraform automation platforms
• Vulnerability scanning and security tooling
• 24/7 production support experience
