A growing technology-driven organization is hiring a Technical Lead .NET Engineer to lead a product-focused development team working on complex, high-scale systems. This role is headquartered in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago. They focuses on building and supporting platforms using C# (.NET 6–8), cloud PaaS solutions, APIs, and modern JavaScript frameworks. This is a full-time position blending technical leadership with hands-on engineering.
This role is for someone who wants real ownership. You’ll lead a small pod of engineers working on challenging, real-world problems that span integrations, real-time processing, automation, and large-scale data workflows. It’s ideal for a lead who enjoys solving hard problems, improving standards, and helping teams grow without losing touch with the code.

Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience with C# and .NET (6.0–8.0)
- Strong understanding of software architecture, schema design, and coding standards
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
- Working knowledge of T-SQL, including query and schema evaluation
- Experience owning or co-owning a production software stack
- Prior experience leading or mentoring engineers (team size 3+ preferred)
- Ability to balance hands-on development with leadership responsibilities
- Experience with cloud PaaS platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Familiarity with Azure services (Service Bus, Queues, App Services, API Management, App Insights)
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks and component-based architecture
- Exposure to Angular (15+)
- Background working on highly integrated or real-time systems
