Job Description
A local to Fort Worth energy and utilities company, is looking for a System Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis. In this position, you’d be pivotal to the maintenance of their system infrastructure and security.
They are looking to hire a Windows system generalist who is ready to help out where needed – from ensuring system security doing intrusion mitigation, to working on their VMware servers, or helping out with support tickets. You would be helping maintain a smaller infrastructure environment, doing a variety of Windows system administration functions and support. They need someone with a solid foundational knowledge of system security who can help them upgrade to and secure their Windows environment. Tech wise, they need someone strong with Windows, VMware, AWS, Active Directory/Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
This is a full-time direct hire position with an onsite work environment located in Fort Worth, Texas.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience working within a Windows environment, supporting end-users and maintaining servers.
- Experience maintaining VMware environments working with vSphere and vSphere Replication.
- Strong foundational knowledge of system security (including intrusion mitigation and detection).
- Willingness to help with support tickets when necessary.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or related certifications nice to have.
- Any knowledge of network administration or troubleshooting a perk.
