A successful largescale manufacturing group located in the West Suburbs of Chicago is searching for a "Jack of All Trades" IT Support professional. They’re focused on finding an engineer who is well versed in both infrastructure and user end facing support and who has experience with SQL databases, Server Administration, Remote support tools, and Network Troubleshooting.
This is a great opportunity for a Senior IT Engineer to keep their skills sharp and take ownership of their projects. This position will require to use multiple tools within your skillset to maintain IT infrastructure and continue to support users in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in System Administration
- 3+ years of experience in end user IT Support or Help Desk
- Experience in Mobile Device Management
- Strong experience managing SQL Databases and servers
- Break/fix PC, Desktop and printer experience
- Excellent infrastructure and device troubleshooting skills
- Ability to document and report work in timely manner
- IT Certifications
- Experience ERP software
- Scripting abilities using Bash or Python

Tech Breakdown
- 50% End User IT Support (ERP, Laptops, Printers, MDM)
- 30% Infrastructure Support (Network, Servers, )
- 20% Compliance (SOC 2, FedRAMP, HIPPA)
- Fulfill any infrastructure / user end IT related support tickets in a timely manner
- Manage device inventory and provisioning for laptops and cloud PC’s using MDM tools
- Troubleshoot and maintain laptops, servers, office devices and basic Network issues
- Onboarding and offboarding users, fixing hardware and software issues on PC and desktops
