Lead IT Support

 
A largescale manufacturing group located in the West Suburbs of Chicago is searching for a "Jack of All Trades" IT Support professional. They’re focused on finding an engineer who is well versed in both infrastructure and user end facing support and who has experience with SQL databases, Server Administration, remote support tools, and has a strong Business Analytics background.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior IT Engineer to take ownership of their projects. This position will require to use multiple tools within your skillset to maintain IT infrastructure and continue to support users in a fast-paced environment with little oversight. 

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in System Administration
• 3+ years of experience in end user IT Support or Help Desk
• Minimum 1 year performing Business Analytics
• Strong experience managing SQL Databases and servers
• Break/fix PC, Desktop and printer experience
• Excellent infrastructure and device troubleshooting skills
• Ability to document and report work in timely manner

Desired Skills & Experience

• IT Certifications
• Experience with ERP software
• Scripting abilities using Bash or Python
• Excellent

What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown

• 30% End User IT Support (ERP, Laptops, Printers, MDM)
• 30% Infrastructure Support (Network, Windows Servers, Cloud )
• 20% Business Analytics (Excel, SQL Databases, Power BI)

Daily Responsibilities

• Fulfill any and all Infrastructure or End User IT related support requests
• Manage device inventory and provisioning for laptops and cloud PC’s using MDM tools
• Perform crucial audits, data analysis and service reports using a variety of tools
• Troubleshoot and maintain laptops, servers, office devices and basic Network issues
• Onboarding and offboarding users, fixing hardware and software issues on PC and desktops
