We are partnered with an investment company that is hiring an Assistant IT Manager. This is a full-time direct hire role. You will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the companywide IT department. You’ll assist with a range of things from overseeing infrastructure, network systems, support, security, and project implementation. The role requires a hands-on leader having a strong technical background, problem solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
They are ideally looking for someone who has previous management or leadership experience. As well as hands on contributions to a team working in a hybrid on-prem and Azure environment, including VMware, O365, and Dell EMC storage. As well as some, network and security involving Cisco, access points and firewalls. While also providing assigned supervisory responsibilities.
This is a full-time direct hire position, on-site working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm and occasional after-hours / weekend work as needed. This position is located in Fort Worth, TX.

Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration; previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Prior experience managing and maintaining IT infrastructure including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems. This includes Windows, VMWare, on prem and Azure, O365 Cisco, Access Points, and firewalls.
- Supervise and provide support to the IT team, ensuring timely resolution to any technical issues
- Support in planning and implementing IT projects
- Aiding in enforcing IT policies, procedures, and best practices
- Ensure data and security compliance
- Assisting with managing IT asset inventory, software licenses, and vendor relationships
- Providing any mentorship, training, and guidance to team members
