They are currently hiring a contractor to join their team for help build out mobile-responsive websites. This is a 5 week contract, however there is a possible opportunity to convert to full time dependent upon engineer performance.
- 5+ years of experience as a .NET Engineer
- Developing, deploying, and maintaining web applications using ASP.NET Core 7.
- Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns in C#.
- Ability to design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of API security, versioning, and best practices for API design.
- Ability to work with SQL Server or other relational database management systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in the fintech industry or with financial applications.
- Knowledge of cloud services and deployment (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Daily Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using C#, .NET Core, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and business analysts to deliver robust and efficient software solutions.
- Design and implement APIs and microservices to support a modular, service-oriented architecture.
- Deploy applications to Microsoft Azure, leveraging services including Azure Functions, App Services, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Uphold code quality through unit testing, peer code reviews, and adherence to CI/CD best practices.
- Contribute to technical planning, architecture reviews, and system design discussions.
