Travel Field Service Technician / Garland, TX

A B2B company with an e-commerce marketplace platform is looking to hire a Field Service Technician on a full time basis. This is an onsite position in Garland, TX. The position will also involve traveling to company warehouses and datacenters to address IT needs. Travel will be about 30% around the DFW area, North Carolina, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. 

In this position you will be responsible for supporting onsite and remote employees as well as traveling to company warehouses and datacenters to address a range of IT needs. They are ideally looking for an IT field engineer or support professional having prior experience working in this realm of IT and has experience with Windows and Mac devices, hardware and software support and troubleshooting. In addition to supporting O365, Active Directory, Intune, printer support, mobile device management, network troubleshooting and working on wireless access point equipment. Additionally, it will be necessary to have strong technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service as well as oral and written communication. You must be able to self manage and have good time management.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Prior support experience for onsite and remote users, handing tier 2-3 support needs with no guidance, prior field tech or travel IT tech experience
  • Windows support
  • Macintosh device support
  • Active Directory / Azure Active Directory
  • O365 support
  • Mobile device management
  • Microsoft Endpoint management - Intune
  • Supporting and troubleshooting software issues
  • Hardware troubleshooting including but not limited to PC’s, Printers, and Network devices
  • Experience working on access point devices
  • Documentation of processes and ticket resolution
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant industry certifications are a nice to have
  • Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent customer service skills, speaking clearly and professionally with all users
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to self manage
  • Desire to grow in experience and responsibility within the company
