Network Engineer

Our client, an energy and recycling company, is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team. They need a mid-level engineer with experience working in large scale environments. Helping with the maintenance and support of their 250 sites and multiple datacenters. The ideal candidate has experience working primarily in Cisco based environments, with a strong understanding of Catalyst, Nexus, and Meraki gears. Having a strong understanding of load balancing in large infrastructure environments is required. You will also be pivotal in helping their Palo Alto firewall builds. This is a direct hire position with a 2-3 day a week onsite requirement in Irving, Texas. Compensation is $85-100K annually plus a 10% annual bonus. Required Skills & Experience

• Experience working with Cisco gears (Catalyst, Nexus, Meraki).
• Strong understanding of load balancing in large environments.
• Experience configuring new Palo Alto firewalls.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree in related field.
• CCNA, CCNP, or related certifications are good to have.
