Network Engineer

Our client, a large banking company, is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team. They need someone strong with Cisco networking, LAN optimization, and network security to help their network team keep their enterprise level infrastructure running smoothly. In this role, you’ll be collaborating with a team of network engineers from junior to architect level to provide the necessary monitoring, optimization, and maintenance to keep the company’s infrastructure running at peak proficiency. The ideal candidate is technically skilled with Cisco (Catalyst/Nexus), FirePower, LAN/WAN optimization, and Solarwinds. This is a direct hire role, hybrid (3 days onsite) out of their north Dallas, Texas office. You will be participating in an on-call rotation with the rest of the network team. Compensation is $110-130K depending on experience. Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of the Cisco line of products – from route & switch to firewalls to security.
• Experience working in an enterprise level environment supporting LAN & WAN networks.
• Experience maintaining and monitoring large scale networks.
• Knowledge of network security best practices.
• Willingness to collaborate with a team.
• Strong written & verbal communication.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors or masters in related field and/or related technical certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc).
• Any cloud networking experience is a huge plus.
