Senior Network Engineer / Architect

We are assisting a large managed service provider in their search for a Senior Network Enginer / Network Architect to join their team on a full-time basis.

They are working on building out a new datacenter, so they are looking for someone to come in and architect and build it out. They need someone with a primary focus in datacenter specific design and builds. In this role, you will be working with several networking gears and equipment, designing, and implementing a spine and leaf architecture, and taking ownership of the new datacenter. The ideal candidate is skilled with Cisco Meraki, Arista, Aruba, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.

This is a direct hire, fully onsite position located in Dallas, Texas. Required Skills & Experience

• Experience architecting large scale datacenters.
• Experience in design and deployment leveraging Arista, Palo Alto, and Cisco Meraki.
• Experience with network automation using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Understanding of cloud networking with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of network security like intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and monitoring.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 6-8 years of experience working in a senior level network position with an emphasis on design.
• 4+ years datacenter specific experience.
• Related certifications (CCIE Datacenter, CCDP, CCNP, etc)

Tech Skills

• Cisco Meraki, Arista, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet gears
• Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform
• Variety of routing protocols such as eBGP, iBGP, OSPF
• LAN/WAN/SDWAN
